Just finished my exam two days ago. Starting to panic about finishing MC so fast, while playing with 2 hours 30 minutes on stimulates which I only used like 1 hour and 10 minutes . Was actually intend to spend more time on MC because I usually do bad on them , but on the exam I just go by so fast on MC, is that consider “normal”? anyone had similar experience?

I finished my audit exam so fast that the girl at prometric said she'd never seen anyone do it that fast. If you felt like you knew the answer, don't stress. I think a lot of people take to long and talk themselves out of the right answer. I finished an entire exam in just over an hour and a half and have never taken more than 2:15 for any of them.

    You're fine.

@chrisbrown3- After reading your post, I'm now convinced that you're either here to troll or to just brag about what a genius you are. So let me get this straight…. you passed FAR and AUD with only a few days of studying and were able to complete both exams in just a little over 2 hours!! Wow, you're a real genius there, buddy!

I finished MCQs in both REG and BEC in less than 90 minutes. I read and process really quickly, so I wasn't surprised.

I did well with REG, not so sure about BEC. On REG, I spent a total of 2:24, and with BEC is was less than 2:00.

    REG - 89
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 87
    AUD - 81
Used CPAexcel, Wiley Online Practice, and NINJA!

Chris Brown isn't a genius. He has failed FAR & REG.

I passed all 4 on the first try. I'm more of a genius than him. I just don't brag about it 😉

    Oh guys,

I don't really care if you believe me or not. The OP asked a question and I answered, truthfully.

If you don't believe me, that's fine. Some people are able to read and process information extremely quickly. If you're not one, that's okay, that's why they give you 3-4 hours.

    @nolifecpa… That's funny. Nice one.

Is it really so bad to brag? It's not bad if it's done tactfully. But I haven't read those threads so I don't know if it was done with tact of not. If I'm really happy and excited about something I accomplished I might brag about it a little bit. 🙂

@misanthrope87 – you should brag about your 3 scores! Damn girl!

    REG - 80 (Becker only)
    BEC - 76 (Becker only)
    AUD - 71, 76 (Becker only)
FAR - 65, 74, 81! (Becker, Wiley Test Bank, Ninja notes & Audio)

I have left all the exams with at least 1.5 hours to spare. I took AUD yesterday and left with nearly two hours to spare. It's completely whatever your style is. If it takes you longer and you do better because of it, great. I find that if I spend too much time on a question I talk myself out of what I think the answer is. I don't go back and check answers, and I NEVER change my answer. The statistics on that are just too lopsided.

So, take the test at your pace. If that pace is fast, stick with it. If it's slow, it means absolutely nothing about your level of intelligence. Passing is what is important. Your SCORE isn't even important as long as it's a 75!!

Had a similar experience today with AUD. Spent just over 90 minutes on MCQs. I was thinking about taking a break before doing the SIMs, but I was afraid that I would run out of time. Should've taken the break. I had like an hour left when I finished the exam. If I have to take AUD again, I'll probably take couple of breaks between testlets to re-charge.

I'm pretty confident about the MCQs (but you never know), but less so with the SIMs. If I fail this exam, it'll probably be because of the SIMs. I didn't think the SIMs were too hard, but I tend to do bad with them. There was one SIM that I hope they toss. It wasn't hard, but out of the 6 or 7 questions in the SIM, I picked the same drop down answer on all but one of them. That's gotta be wrong.

    BEC: 84
    AUD: 89
    REG: 71, 86
    FAR: 80
