Is an Engagement Letter needed for under new SSARS 21?

    In Becker, it said “prescriptively mandatory”; whereas in Gleim, it said “yes” (required). Anyone could give me some clarification? Thank you so much!

    Yes it is required. For ‘Reviews' you do; for compilation you need a written understanding – technically an engagement letter.
