The first time I took audit I was not 100% ready and I took the exam right before the changes took effect. I thought I would get a score in the high 60’s but I received a 56. I was shocked, I knew I didn’t do great but I thought I did okay.
So for the second time around I re-read the whole book (the new one), listened to the lecture, I did all the multiple choice in wiley and becker, along with the sims. I made sure to understand the material. I took the test and I felt confident after each testlet that I was getting the answers correct. I even know for a fact I got 4 of the sims 100% I used the AL and found a lot of the answers. So when my score was being released I was sure I would get a high score. And I get a 59. I was sooooooo shocked and surprised. I don’t know what else I could do. I scored weaker in mostly all the topics. How is this possible. During the test I know I got the answers right I even checked some of them at home and I noticed I got them correct.
I just don’t understand what else I could do. I studied so hard and so long the second time around and my score barely improved. I don’t understand how people score 99 for audit it seems quite impossible at this point to pass this exam. Both times I took the exam at the last day of the window. I doubt that has anything to do with me not passing, but it just does not make sense to me. Has this happened to anyone else and they found a studying technique to eventually pass?
