i thought that my MC's were really easy – the Very simple stuff u would overlook ! and not know ! the SIM's were not that hard ! but were really !! well ! I dont get it … whats the difference between management and CEO if the CEO is responsible for the strategic stuff of the company !

The SIMS made me feel like every second I studied was a big, fat waste of time because nothing I studied was relevant.

I'm not sure I'd call them FAR……they were insane.You'd have to be a sadist to be able to answer them….in fact I'd have no respect at all for anybody who could have answered a particular one. Anybody who could have gotten my 5th SIM right would be a sick sick sick individual.

Same here. I went through Becker MCQs mulitiple times (at least 3x) and still some of them were so hard and out of the left field.

SIMS were even worse. I wanted to leave, but stayed and didn't leave anything blank…but I felt I was guessing on a lot of them. I'm so nervous to find out and I won't be surprised if I don't pass. I have a glimpse of hope though!!

it was also my 5th sim too….. i spent 30 mins to do it and still couldnt find the answer. I went back for another 15 mins…. still no luck.

Same for me- easy MC and then horrible SIMS. I get my score tomorrow, feeling somewhat nervous…

@cah2c … I took Aud on the same day too ! very Easy MC … might have been really bad Sims … but i still did Really bad since the MC's were about the basics that you wouldnt even think of studying !!!! Good luck 🙂

same here. If it will make you feel better, I have a friend who walked out of the test texting me that he needs a drink so bad because the SIMS was so bad. He scored 95.

What material (was it the same Wiley/Yeager you used for FAR?), how long did you study for, is audit something that you do everyday or is it all academic knowledge only? Would be nice to hear what you think was the key (I mean beside the hard work, of course)

Another74CPA & iPass- trust me, I had to do a double take when I saw that score. I'm still waiting for them to tell me there was a mistake and they gave me too many points…

As for how I studied, I used Yeager and Wiley materials. One module at a time from start to finish- I listened to the lecture, made note cards, and did the MC. The last two weeks I did tons of MC from the online test bank. I never practiced the SIMS. Also, I started getting up early each morning and spent about 30 to 45 minutes reviewing the Modules I'd already completed before starting my day. That helped a LOT because otherwise you forget the previously covered material.

I had little prior knowledge of audit. I had an Audit class during my grad studies about six years ago….but that's about it. As for number of hours, depending on the length of the Module, it seems to take me around 15 or so hours per Module plus lots of review time the last couple of weeks.
