I have passed FAR and REG with high 80 scores with Becker less than 70% complete.

But this Audit crap has me at my wit’s end. I could write papers on why some of these MCQ answers are just flat out WRONG. No! No! No!

I studied for a week and got a 73 – now I’m back at it after tax season and I realize now why I hated studying for this exam last winter. It’s asinine!

How do you all handle this?

Just want to make sure I read this correctly … you studied for only 7 days and still got a 73 on your first audit attempt?

If you got a 73 after a week of studying that's awesome, you'll obviously get it this time with more studying.

For me, the constant repetition of the audit MCQs was key. Once you repeat them a bunch of times you'll start to know what they're getting at with each question (e.g. there will be a whole long question, but what they're essentially testing is that the financial statements belong to management)

I took a week off from work to do it; I tried to get it in before the start of Q1/Tax season.

Which would've left me only BEC to complete before Summer started.

Now it's beautiful outside and here I am answering these terribly-worded questions. Frustrating is an understatement!

I would say, rather confidently, studying for a few more weeks on top of the knowledge base from your first go round that you will have no problem with your second attempt at AUD.

Study tip – do not study with a view of outside weather conditions lol …

I agree with Dudley – last year I finally just started hitting MCQs and was able to find success. It took me way too many attempts to finally pass this one.

I was so worried about FAR and REG – and these new Audit sims, I would argue, have increased the complexity the most of this exam.

I moved my studying outside! My husband and I just bought our first house a couple of months ago and we set up our back patio last weekend. Now I study out there every evening after work and it's lovely. I'm also studying for AUD and can't wait for it to be over.

I thought the audit mcqs were so simple, it's crazy how different people have different views on these things. My advice would be process of elimination. I thought aud was a really easy exam to use that method with.
