Hi everyone, this is my first post. I just passed my FAR and i am really happy. I am planning to take AUD in last week of January. I am using Becker Exam and Final Review. Can anyone please advise on how to study for AUD effectively. Thanks

How did you study for FAR?

AUD - 1/13 - 86 *** BEC - 1/13 *** REG - 2/13 *** FAR - 4/13
Goal is to be done by my annual review in April!

I dont know honestly it was my first exam i prepared for it for 5 months. i wasn't serious in the beginning but the last two months i started to study seriously. i watched the videos then read the text then solved the problems. I feel like i spent too much time on FAR. My exam is in two weeks can anyone please post how much IFRS is on the recent exam

I'm going to start studying for AUD soon. Have you been following the Ninja framework? I found that made a huge difference when i Started to write notes and re-writing stuff really stuck. But since you are only 2 weeks away. Usually at that stage I want to be doing nothing but questions.

I use the Wiley Test Bank i'm not sure if Becker has something similar but I do Pop Quizes (30 Multiple Choice Questions) On each topic until I get 80% then I move onto the next topic. After that I practice Simulations. Then do Simulation Exams 90MC and 7TBS and see how I do.

Every time you get an answer wrong I would flag it and write down the concept I either didn't understand or forgot. The next day I would re-do the questions I got wrong.

Because AUD is more conceptual, I just went crazy on MCQ's. Not as many specific rules/calculations like some of the other exams… at least that's how I felt. I did about 1,500 – 2,000 MCQ and read the NINJA Notes over and over… and over again.

I think NINJA Notes are awesome for AUD (and everything else) so that definitely helped me.

Also, make sure to use the Authoritative Lit. tab when doing SIMs. You can look up the relevant material to the SIMs in the literature… that was a HUGE help for me. A lot of my answers I found word for word in the auth. lit.

FAR - 2012 - PASSED (YAEGER)
AUD - 2012 - PASSED (YAEGER + NINJA NOTES)
BEC - 2012 - PASSED (YAEGER + NINJA NOTES)
REG - 2013 - PASSED (YAEGER + NINJA NOTES + NINJA AUDIO)

ETHICS - 2013 - PASSED
