I’m using CPAexcel and the lectures bore me to death. Also, it seems that CPAexcel tends to recycle a lot of its questions. Literally like 1 in every 10 questions or so, I would go, “hmmmm now this question look awfully familiar.” By the way, for those who have Ninja audio for AUD, how helpful (or not helpful) did you find it?

@ Mints – Your first paragraph just made my night. I'm lol'ing over here. Only because I feel like I'm riding this slow train through hell with you. And while I was rooting for your AUD score last time, I was heartbroken when I saw you came up shy of 75. I know you are going to kill it this time. My underestimated, powerful, extremely pissed off sister 🙂

CPA Romantic – MCQ's and mastering the Authoritative Literature are the keys to passing. I have found Ninja audio extremely helpful. I rewrote the notes and it really helped summarize the Wiley concepts. But I also had a difficult time with the reporting section and the overall beginning to end concept of an audit. I spent an afternoon in Barnes and Noble skimming through Auditing for Dummies to help make sense of it all.

Like everyone said, RTMFQ!!! I take Audit on Friday..Pray For ME!!! I had a power weekend this past weekend and Im just lightly looking over my Ninja notes and doing MQ every chance I get… I find that just slowing down and reading question VERY carefully sometimes 3 and 4 times really help. I've caught myself by answering the question and then when I reread the question I got a totally different answer.

I hate every minuite or training, but I said DON'T QUIT. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a CHAMPION!

HA!!!!! I can really “PERCV” that we share the same level of frustration on this topic. I would have to give an adverse opinion on your review materials stalling out…it's neither efficient nor effective for your prep. Perhaps your browser is experiencing a simple operational control deficiency…but worst case scenario it's a material weakness that should be communicated to those charged with governance as soon as possible. If those charged with governance refuse to correct the material weakness, then you should consider withdrawing from the engagement. You don't want to associate with management that lacks integrity. 😉
