I’m wondering how much the test changes for the clarified audit standards that are being tested starting in July.

I’m in a weird spot. I have 1 section of the CPA exam left (Audit) and I can’t decide if I want to try and crank it out before end of May or just study for 2 months and knock it out in early July.

I know I need to call Becker and find out where the changes will be occurring (because I am using Becker 2012) but are the changes major? I wonder how many sections of the book it will effect? Only 1 or changes to all 6?

I think it's small changes over many areas, enough so that Becker's 2013 material has an AUD A for Jan – May and an AUD B for July and after.

FAR: 67,80 - 7/20/12
BEC: 77 - 10/5/12
REG: 69,86 - 2/15/13
AUD: 81 - 4/12/13 DONE!!

Is Becker's B version already out? I see they have a 2014 exam review on their website, but I'm not sure if that's it.

Becker AUD B is already out. I'm using it right now. Not sure how big of a change it is. I do know it's related to convergence with international. Some of the terminology is different.

@CPA_Driven that PDF is like longer than the entire AUD textbook haha. Guess taking it before pays off.

Ya once I saw that I decided trying to piecemeal new materials with old materials was going to come back to haunt me. It was either take it before July or suck it up and buy updated materials. Becker wound up with another $1000 bucks.
