    Hi,

I know it sounds really silly to start this thread since it depends on each person on how they grab their knowledge and how fast they can absorb these stuffs? Everyone is different. But I just want to have a general ideas on how many hours you guys seriously put in your time and pass this…( “Serious” I mean when you really put your 110% percent of focus on studying and nothing disturb you. I usually lock myself in the conference room and that is where I find my focus.:-) I don’t really count those hours when I hold my Ipad and do the Ninja MCQ and NFL Preseason is turned on so I can get ready for my Fantasy Football Draft right after my exam at the end of this month.

SO AGAIN the question is HOW MANY HOURS YOU SERIOUSLY PUT IN to PASS THIS AUDIT EXAM? Thanks.

Can also ask 1 more questions? How do you find your focus of studying for like 4 hours straight? I can’t do it. 3 hour is the max I can go before my mind start flying somewhere else. I want to get that feeling so I can get ready for the Exam. Please help. !!!!!!

I think when I figured it up after this exam it was like 40-60 hours, something like that. Audit is something that if it clicks you don't need much time, but if it doesn't, you need forever. It's a tough one to predict.

    REG - Passed (5/14)
    Audit - Passed (8/14)
    BEC - 8/31

I put in 130 hours (clocked it), which was way too much. I'm an experienced auditor and probably half of that time would have been enough, but I insisted on reading the entire Becker book and that took some time. I felt 100% walking into that exam.

Big 4 Audit Manager from Europe here to pass the CPA in the U.S. of A in 2014! Niiice!

    AUD - 95 / Jul 15 / 130h over 4 weeks
    FAR - 86 / Aug 14 / 240h over 4 weeks
    (11 week break)

    REG - 81 / Nov 14 / 200h over 4 weeks
    BEC - 87 / Nov 17 / 30 h over 2.5 days

I probably spent about 140-150 hours studying for AUD because I failed it twice. I just barely passed it the third time around with a 76. I only spent like 15 hours on BEC and passed with an 82. To me, AUD was the hardest exam by far.

I probably studied about 130-140 hours for Audit. I have no Audit experience whatsoever as I've only worked for industry so far. Audit was the trickiest exam in my opinion.

I also had several days where we were really slow at work and got to study at work all day as well.

Hmmm, probably about 8 serious hours with no distractions, when I took practice exams (AUD was my first test– I don't do practice exams anymore). The rest of my approximately 60 or so hours I did while catching up on all the early seasons of How I Met Your Mother. That's just how I study. It's weird, but it works.

I'm not an auditor and have never been one, but I had just finished advanced audit with an excellent professor.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I studied an obscene amount for REG, but for AUD I think I logged about 70 hours over 5 weeks.

I personally cant study more than 2 hours at a time; so I plan my week out so I can hit 17 hours without studying more than 2 hours in a row.

If you don't have the Ninja MC, get it.

    AUD - 73 92
