Hi all,

Going to be wrapping up AUD in Becker in the next few days and believe I will have about 11-12 days to review. I will have completed all of the MCQs at least once, so far I’ve been averaging 70% on them, and do plan to redo most of them. I haven’t worked on Sims at all but do plan to getting to some of them eventually.

Just curios to see how long people on here reviewed for after completing their study materials, and please feel free to share your strategies.

I typically answer tons on multiple choice questions as review. If I have weak areas, I review them with the notes and answer every ninja question on that topic just to make it a strong area. You also HAVE TO go onto the AICPA website and take the practice exam so you get familiar with the sims.

I reviewed for one week. I did as many MCQs as I could, but also made sure I was understanding why I missed any. I did the practice exam on the AICPA's website. I read the chapter summaries for the chapters where I was weaker. Then did more MCQs.

Had 10 days for FAR, felt rushed/not long enough. BEC was a weird time due to Christmas holiday. I finished the last section before Christmas but I didn't really start my final review until New Years. I felt really good/prepared going into BEC exam on 1/15. I plan to save 2 weeks for AUD.

Anywhere from 10-14 days. I just got done with BEC so will be reviewing that for probably 14 days. Maybe a bit too long but my ideal review is 10-14 days.

Thanks for all of your responses. This makes me feel better! I should have plenty of time considering I'm not working.

I do plan on visiting the AICPA practice exams as it has been a hot topic on the forum, so it shouldn't hurt to try it. Plus I am assuming that their sims will be better than the Becker ones. The ones on the exam were much more difficult than the ones in Becker when I sat for FAR, so I'll be looking at them for sure.
