Hi, I am just wondering when u r takin the actual AUD exams, how do u tell that ur 2nd or 3rd testlets are getting harder from the previous one, assuming u did really well on it.

Now I understand most ppl would say the questions would become longer or more detailed etc.

But it would be highly appreciated if u could be more specific on the signs of harder questions plz? Other than the ones I heard already.

    Thx a lot!

I don't know that I've really been able to tell for any of the sections, up until I just took BEC. I could definitely tell during BEC that the testlets got harder. I think the difficulty can be hard to determine since it depends on what areas you know better…

Audit will get more specific with details but it's still a good sign that you couldn't tell. (Unless all the questions were difficult to answer…)

It just means you knew the material and understood the question.

I couldn't tell if my auditing was getting any harder honestly. I won't receive my score until September so I have no idea if it's a good or bad thing. As for BEC, I was able to tell that my questions were getting harder because the concepts definitely was on a higher level vs the first booklet.

It was the most obvious for me for FAR. The question was longer and more detailed, etc.

    FAR - 83 - 05/23/2011
    BEC - 85 - 07/02/2011
    AUD - 79 - 08/13/2011
    REG - scheduled Oct 10

I think I could tell my 2nd testlet was harder, but then it seemed like my 3rd testlet got easier. Who knows though – most people say the only section where you might be able to tell is FAR

My second testlet in FAR was heavy on calculations, lots of text (paragraph to half page), abstract/intricate detail…but the third testlet wasn't like that and I felt I got around 24-25 out of the 30 right…for those who took FAR and got a second testlet like mine, did your third one also look like the second one?

The way I usually tell is by how many questions I “mark.” If I'm marking a lot more questions to go back and check, then it's getting harder? Either that or I just don't know the material well enough.

    REG: 90
    FAR: 73, 86
    BEC: 77
    AUD: 73, 79

I gauge the same way…0-5 marked is easy 6-11 marked medium, 11+ is hard.

Long or short questions, if I have to mark it or have to guess its something I don't know its hard for me.

My AUD testlets practically remained the same in difficulty. If anything, I may have gotten a couple of wordy questions, but other than that, my testlets didn't get that much harder. I even got a few duplicated questions.

With FAR, I noticed that Testlet #2 had more theory questions and a few heavy calculation questions.

With REG, my testlets were hard from the beginning and remained that way. So, I know I screwed up on that exam. Still awaiting results for that one.

I could only tell with FAR. REG was a little harder in the 2nd testlet, but FAR was definitely harder in the second testlet.

    BEC - 86
    AUD - 94
    REG - 88
    FAR - 89

I couldn't tell with REG. Each testlet had a mixture
