Can someone generically go through the typical audit process for me. I feel like I have been studying this at a very low detail level but I am missing the over-arching process of how the audit flows. This is what the process sounds like to me (I have no audit experience).

1. Client Acceptance

2. Engagement Letter

3. Risk Assessment Procedures – Analytical Procedures, Inquiry

4. Tests of Controls

5. Substantive Tests if control risk is not at an acceptable level

6. Subsequent Review

7. Rep Letter

8. Report

Again, this is at a very high level, but in my mind if I have a high level understanding, I can start to tick and tie things together. Thanks!
