Hi everyone,

I had an important question regarding the “Authoritative Literature” for the AUD Exam. I have my exam in a few days and I am freaking out. I am using Becker and from what it seems – I can find the research question pretty quickly.

However, the ISSUE I seem to be having is finding the exact reports (i.e. Review report, Compilation Report, Attestation Report, etc.) I cannot seem to find this no matter how hard I try. One important point to note is that in the Becker Authoritative Literature, if I go to the exhibit, it says “wrong path.” So, I don’t know why I get that error.

For research questions I’m fine, for other questions, which everyone says they just used the AL on, I don’t know how to use it.

Are reviews, compilations and stuff not in AL?

I didn't use Becker, but I know that the AL for practice sims for both CPA Excel and the Wiley test bank was not the full AL. In the actual exam, I believe the full AL is available and is not reduced at all. In fact, one of the biggest pieces of advice I would have for anyone taking the exam is to search for keywords in the AL if you are uncertain on a sim. Particularly for REG, I found bits of my sims word for word in the AL. It really made me feel better when answering things that I would have been uncertain of without reading it in the AL.
