so both time i failed the aud is because of simulations please help give me advice the second time i used AL for the questions did me no good first time i got 67 second time i got 65 and both time i thaugh i passed

hello guy i did mcq for becker and i did great . but when i did the aud cpa exam i failed twice until now i cant afford to fail another time. so i got wiley plus ninja notes i read the notes i knew all the info by heart wiyle i finished all i did paractice exam i got i a 74 bcz in simulations i got a 54 while on mcq i got maybe 86.

@Momo, our status is actually opposite to each other. You're on your 3/4 and I'm on my 1/4 way to CPA.

I don't think you would you like to switch with me. LOL

I know I will not be that much help to you. So many people here have scored as high as 99 in AUD. I'm sure they would love to share some helpful tips with you per your request.

Lets be honest…many times the sims are just bonafide MC questions. I think you are psyching yourself out. The only explanation is that you were not prepared enough.

In AUD, the sims weren't just bigger “bonafide” MCQs. The sims for this section have been my struggle too. The last time I took the test, the SIMs are what I scored weaker in. Audit is tricky, because something that you think makes logical sense is not the correct answer.

I remember a couple of sims that gave me a hard time and so I've been looking up examples of similar problems online. Some of the stuff is in our study materials and some is not. I think you should look up as many similar examples online and what they translate to, as possible. There was one question that was addressed in detail in my ninja materials that was just barely covered in my CPAexcel materials, so supplementing with other study materials is a good idea too.

Out of 7 sims, I was able to answer just 1 completely – only because it was more like FAR, not AUD. It asked to prepare adjusting entries. I've also answered 1 research sim… and the rest… I'm hoping for miracle. 2 sims were nothing like I've seen in my study materials, and I couldn't understand what do they want from me.

Although I agree that SIMS are sort of MCQs, but you are not choosing from 4 answer choices.. it's more like out of 10 answer choices.
