Hi all,

My auditing score just released today, and yeah… I got a 74!… 🙁 Surprisingly, I didn’t have much reaction to the “shocking score.” My reaction was like “OH WELL…” Currently I am using Becker. Thinking buying supplemental materials. Could anyone suggest me any good auditing supplemental questions to prepare for the retake? I am thinking about to buy Ninja and Wiley.

I used the Wiley book, and the old WTB, this was before Ninja test bank existed, if I were studying today I'd use NMCQ. I also used Ninja notes. Good luck to you! Try to understand the concepts and apply it to doing an actual audit.

hi dmars327, WTB is Wiley Test Bank right? So the test bank has different questions than the Wiley book? I do have 2013 Wiley book, and only use the book for simulations questions.

I failed AUD too, got 72. Need some serious retake strategy. I used NINJA MCQ but was scoring around 70's. BTW I passed FAR on my 1st attempt, needless to say that conceptual stuff is not my strongest suit.

I failed AUD on my first attempt in April with a 72. I had used WTB and the Wiley book and made my own flash cards. For my second attempt I got the Ninja MCQ and Ninja Audio. I made sure that I answered every question in the MCQ correctly at least once and listened to the the audio a few dozen times. Also, I really took my time during the second exam and reviewed each question a couple times. Passed on the second attempt.

hi gob29… I will definitely buy the Ninja questions. I do have Becker review online lecture. Do you think the Ninja Audio is worth to purchase it? Does it really break down the concept in details?

@vickyfan I did use the NINJA MCQ for the AUD however I didn't had a chance to do all of the MCQs. NINJA MCQ is a must buy and it does test your understanding of the materials.

Yes WTB is the Wiley test bank. Some of the questions overlap with the book, I actually do not like the new WTB – I found too many errors and the explanations seemed shorter than the old WTB. For AUD, I read most of the Wiley book, I found it very helpful.

JeanPaul9.. Thanks for the suggestion. Will retake audit in the beginning of Oct. Currently I am studying for Regulation. I guess I will push taxation a little behind. I don't want my audit memory to fade away. I had a completely different experiences between my audit and FAR exams. My FAR MCQs are easy and very similar to AICPA released questions, but FAR simulations are HARD as hell. However, Audit MCQs are harder, and simulations are easier comparing to FAR. I remembered there are series of MCQs related to the concept of communication with governance. However, those questions are NOT those conventional questions of basic concepts. I guess I need to study…. more.

I supplemented Becker with NINJA Notes and NINJA Audio, and I think they helped quite a bit.

@vickyfan62001 I didn't use the Becker lecture so I'm not sure if the Ninja Audio is similar. My experience with the Ninja Audio for AUD was that it provided general guidance for the concepts and a bunch of mnemonic devices. I thought it was great as a intro and review, but I relied most on the MCQ and sims.
