Does the AUD test, test your GAAP knowledge?

I am just wondering if I should review the FAR book to brush on my GAAP. The AUD GAAP questions I have encountered on the WTB are fairly basic ones related to: inadequate disclosures, missing Cash Flow Statement.

I don't think they test your knowledge of GAAP on AUD exam but you are expected to know GAAP. And I heard that you may get tested on some journal entries.

Roger's textbook reviews JE for bad debt expense, and such topics as dividends and contingency losses. Guess it's important to know GAAP for test of details/analytical procedures questions.

I'm taking AUD in Oct/Nov so I'm curious myself how much you need to know.

I had two simulations on my AUD exam that tested journal entries… one was rather simple but the other I would have had no idea how to do it had I not already studied and passed the FAR exam. If you haven't done FAR hopefully you don't get stuck with the one I got!

No, not in Florida, but I do reside in the state that a lot of people migrate to Florida. In think I have between 5 to 10 friends that now live Florida.
