That horrid section in A4 called “The Effect of Information Technology on the Audit.”

All I can say is WTF!!! It feels almost as if the question writers had a very narrow understanding of technology and wrote all of the questions to sound alike. Yes, I know CPA exam questions are supposed to be tricky, but there’s something about these questions in particular that makes them seem even more poorly written than some of the bad FAR ones were.

If this is the only glaring weakness I uncover during my final review, I guess I’ll count myself lucky. I can’t imagine that of all the topics, this will be the one that’s heavily tested enough to preclude me from getting a 75.

Just saying, though…they’re awful. It’s like my grandma is trying to explain some advanced technological process to me using vague wording that indicates to me that she doesn’t really have the faintest idea what she’s talking about.

I took AUD back in July and I barely had couple questions on A4, which were very similar to Becker MCQ. I failed the exam by 2 points, thanks to FAR sims…but someone else I know passed and she also didn't have many questions on A4. Hope we get lucky again!!
