I am frustrated, depressed, upset because I can’t figure out what I did wrong to make me failed?

I used Becker and here is what I did,

I did all Mcqs x 2, all simulations x 2, final exam 1 & 2

I scored on avg 80’s on all mcqs

Final exam 70-80s.

Do i seriously need to get 100% correct?

I am also thinking maybe cuz I went over mcqs too fast, I only spent 1.5 hrs on mcqs and 2 hrs on sims on the exam.

Please help!! I dont know what to do now, what should I focus?

I am by no means an audit expert; however, I did get a 92 on my Audit test.

Here's what I did (with Becker):

1) Watch Lecture, Do the HW, then read the chapter and make my own notes.

2) Do the Sim for that Chapter

3) Same thing till all Chapters done

4) Once through everything once, do all the HW and Sims again

5) Nightly, start taking 2-3 50MC question quizzes on random chapters; Skim the chapters before quizzes

6) Finish all sims and take Practice Exams

7) Review all your Quizzez and Practice exams the week leading up to the test

Also, if you are like me, reading the reports can get very boring and hard to retain. I ended up typing each report and it helped me to remember the structure of each. Becker did not go over that very well.

I would argue that the simulations are largely irrelevant. I did them once just for the sake of completing them, but did not repeat them because the multiple choice were infinitely more helpful.

From what I've heard, Becker's simulations don't match up very well to the exam. I obviously can't confirm or deny this, but I will say that regardless of the quality of the simulations, multiple choice is the way to go.

I used Yaeger/Wiley materials and never did a single SIM for the Audit section. Even if I had done them, it wouldn't have helped. My SIMS weren't like any of the SIMS in the study materials. I just did lots of MC.
