Does anyone have any fool proof study plan for auditing? I’ll put in the time and effort but I just need to get this test done. Any plans would be greatly appreciated.

What helped me with Roger is knowing the 10 items of GAAS and everything was built around it. Some parts were a little fuzzy so I borrowed “Auditing for Dummies” from the library lol. It's goofy but it helped some.

Them I cranked out MCQs like crazy for it. Cpareviewforfree.com helped me also for auditing.

The 2012 Wiley books are nice. They'll cover some of the topics then will tell you to go do questions, like 1-4, them come back. Little chunks help. Inch by inch, it's a cinch. I actually had to write out flashcards for that test.

Look up Yeager's podcasts on iTunes. Find one that talks about auditing and listen to it.

Most review courses have pretty great study plans.

Becker's plan: I bet that 99% of people who do Becker's plan pass. They are always encouraging you to watch all the lectures, do all the homework, read all the chapters, do all the SIMS, re-do all the homework, do the practice exams, and do a bunch of progress tests.

If you have the time, this is more than enough for most people. I never did even close to this much work and most don't.

Personal tip: Progress tests are key to cementing previously covered material.

    REG - Passed!!
    BEC - Passed
    FAR - Passed
    AUD - Passed

I like NIU CPA Review. They give you everything you need to know and separate the major subjects into different manageable books. I listened to the lectures, read the books and did the MCQs in the books, took the online exams, re-read the books to fix my weaknesses, and took the exams one last time. I was able to do this with 2 weeks of studying 6 hours a day.

NIU CPA Review Correspondence is awesome!

I passed all four sections on the first attempt
