So just like so many others – yesterday I received my audit score – a 74. And this was my 2nd time – the first time I failed with a 73. These scores are just absolutely heartbreaking. I couldn’t sleep last night because all I could think about was what question I should have changed – or should I have spent 5 minutes longer on that simulation.

Its truly heartbreaking. I really dont know what more to do. Both times before taking the exam using Becker I was scoring in the mid 80’s and occasionally the lower 90’s on practice tests.

I have NINJA notes and I rewrote those before the exam as well.

What more can I do to get the extra point?!!?

Have you study or passed far? I failed audit 2 times within the 5 points range and studying far boosted my score 15 points.

I'm right there with you. I got a 73 this go round. It's my first non-passing score (already passed REG and FAR with scores in the mid to high 80s). I was crushing the MCQs and SIMs before test day and walked out feeling very confident. I remember thinking my questions never got difficult which sort of worried me, but I honestly felt I nailed most of the MCQs on the test. The SIMs didn't appear to be as challenging as the REG/FAR sims I had, so I was pretty sure I scored well on the exam as I left the testing center.

I'm delusionally hoping that there was a score mix-up and I really passed. I've checked the score about 100 times and they've yet to change it.

    REG - 89
    FAR - 84
    AUD - 73, 86
    BEC - 89

    Add the Wiley Test Bank.

Really, really gain an understanding of the material. No more memorization. Do you really get it? Could you explain it to someone with no knowledge of accounting? Try to have that much of a detailed understanding of the information.

    FAR: 50, 76!
REG: 74... (ouch baby, very ouch), 76!
    AUD: 65, 91!?
    BEC: 80! Aaaand doneskies!

    May 2012 to August 2013. Can't believe it's over.

    Hi,

I'm studying for AUD for my 2nd time and I'm determined to pass this test! I felt a bit down yesterday since I found out I failed REG……. no time to look back.

Someone in this thread post “no fail is worthless” so let's make the best of it! it was a practice test… it was a practice test… keep saying that to yourself! I do!

I'm in FL anyone here in same state?

    Priscilla

    AUD - Done
    REG - Done
    BEC - Done
    FAR - August 2015

I passed audit on my 5th try (59,69,71,73,76!) but what changed was instead of highlighting all becker notes i wrote everything out which ended up being 2.5 notebooks. I also added the wiley test bank and just did tons of multiple choice questions. i think thats what finally pushed me over the edge.

    AUD 59,69,71,73 76
    BEC 79(LC), 80
    FAR 71,59,78 (expires 1/31/14)
    REG 77(LC), 88!!!

    DONE 12/6/13

Surprisingly I'm not as depressed as I should be for just seeing I got a 71 this morning on my AUD. I knew I was around the 70s just not sure where. The SIMs was the problem. It was long and brutal. And at that time I didn't even know I can use AL for SIMs. Already filled out the form for retake and will be mailing it out as soon as I get off work. I have a coworker that just told me her friend who spent 5 years in audit had a rough time with this test. I will get it next time, not worried. I know exactly what I need to do and I'm going to make sure I do it so I can nail this exam.

I thought the Becker practice exams were much harder than the real thing. Guess you have to factor in luck with what test you actually get, I scored 20 points higher on the real thing.

    Keep your head up.

    FAR - 84
    AUD - 94
    REG - 86
    BEC - 86
