I am tired of doing MCQs, reading, taking notes, going back and research the wrong ones, reading agian and doing SIMS.

My brian just can’t take this. All this studying is driving me crazy.

    How you guys handle it?

    Thanks for reading my post.

I take Fridays off, and then I sleep really late on Saturdays to recharge. I get up, and then I put in my 6 hours that day.

I sit and study at the kitchen table and I take the cushion off the chairs so that I am sitting on hard wood. No more problems staying awake but I now have roids! 😀 It keeps me awake,

I don't know….I was going to take the weekend off last weekend (after taking REG Friday), but I didn't end up doing it. I get up at 5am, study until 8am, then start my insane life. I study in the waiting room at speech therapy, during violin lessons, and at church on Wednesday nights (while the kids are in their classes.) I study at lunch, after dinner, and anytime I can get a free minute.

I just hope it is worth it (and that my family forgives me someday!)

I'm not sure if you saw the thread about the Pomodoro Technique, but that is a great way to get a lot done while keeping mental fatigue at bay. I also made sure to give myself at least 30 minutes of “me” time daily and one day per week do only put in 1-2hours and take the rest of the day off.

Oh I'm waaaay behind…Could anyone give me some advises?

My test is less than 2 weeks now and my score is expiring by the end of this month.

I'm trying to pass FAR, but for the last 2-3 weeks I just finished 4 chapters. And there're 6 more chapters to go for the MCQs. (And I only am working part time less than 10 hours a week).

I don't know if I'll have time to redo the MCQs again. And I haven't even touched the simulations that's included in my schedule.

Could anyone tell me how to do 1-1.5″ max each question? It took me 5-10 minutes to get these concepts and to write notes for my mistakes.

What's wrong with me? Am I retarded or what? But I passed the other 3 sections and this is my last one. I don't get these intense calculations. REG is more straightforward than these 5-7 lines of information.

I saw a thread doing Pomodoro technique for 20-30 questions within 25 minutes. So theoretically if I have 10 hours of study time per day, I should be able to do at least 250 questions/day. For some reason I just can't keep up with that.

Could anyone tell me how to answer each question less than 1.5 minute/question?

@Working-Hard, I hate to say it but the only advice I can offer is that practice is the #1 way to cut down your time per question. After some time, you learn to “read” the question.

Also, when it comes to FAR, read the root question, usually the last sentence, first and then go back to the beginning of the question to pull the pertinent facts that you'll need to answer the question. That cuts down a lot of time since you read the scenario with specifics in mind. Good luck!!!

Although I don't know about James's suggestion to Hit The Fascist Unicorn, I will say that scheduling your appointment and committing to it will scare the life out of you. There is NOTHING like running out of time to make you watch the clock in a whole different way. I literally haven't had time to deal with fatigue because I've pushed my sittings to the very last moment and HAD to sit and HAD to be done with my prep in time.

    @Working-Hard

Try to pace yourself. Do 100 mcqs everyday no matter what.

    Do every other problem.

Budget time for a final review and reread all your notes & focus notes.
