Like all of us, I was on this forum way too much today, looking at anything and everything to distract myself…and I saw several people with their signatures full of test dates and scores – like, one guy had 26, another was closer to 30 – but at the end, they'd passed all of them and were CPAs. I'm waiting on my first score, and won't get it for awhile cause I'm in a non-NASBA state, so I know I don't yet know what you're dealing with…and I know if I failed it, I'll be pissed as can be at myself and really discouraged…but I also realized seeing those signatures that perseverance does pay off at some point! So I know this may sound stupid, but I'd say keep at it, because you've put too much into the CPA exam has a whole to give up now. 🙂

at least you past a part tho. It seems like audit is your enemy for now but if I was in your shoes I would still give it some go. Id probably take a break from audit and go to another section.

Please don't give up! Look at my scores and note the “72, 71, 74 and 74” for Audit before I finally got it on the SEVENTH try. You passed one exam…you can pass all four of them! It is crushing but it is worth pursuing! You can do it David!

Keep trying, and don't lose hope. You will pass. Try making your own flashcards, it helps a ton.

DavidB1990……..please do not give up. I am sure a time will come when you will pass and be a CPA.

When i was going into the exam i never thought i will be able to pass it. I surprised myself with an 88. I used mainly old materials from Becker and Gleim. I believe Gleim covered audit in much more detail than all the other review services. Their simulations are on point and that was great for me on the exam. I bought the book on amazon for less than a dollar.

    All the best.

I failed audit 4 times before I finally passed. my scores were 50, 58, 70, 72, 89. because of all these fails I lost My FAR credit. it took me almost 3 years but I did not give up. Well actually I did take a nine month break to learn a new position when I took over another department. I got my last passing score this past March!

Take some time to get pissed off and then regroup and kick some CPA a$$!

Thank you for the kind words Mohammedt75. This has been a battle to say the least but I have set the goal and I will achieve it. I am a bit embarrassed to post so many failing scores but if I can help ONE person keep going and realize the dream, it is worth it to me!

    BaxterCPA, You are legendary.

If I got so many 74s, I would have quit already. What a story of you to tell.
