I found out today that I failed Audit, my last part with a 73. I failed the first time with a 68. Both times I used Mr. Bulmash and the Yaeger program. Clearly I need a new strategy because this isn’t working. Any advice?

Wiley test bank? Flashcards, Becker? You're sooo close, I'm sorry Corp D :/ slay the beast the next time around!

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

    @ Corp D.

I used Becker exclusively. The first time I took AUD in February, I made a 62. I took it again on 7/31. This time around I listened to the self study lectures again, reworked all the MC's TWICE, completed the Becker Final Review and all related MC twice. One thing I did this time around was the use of a voice recorder. I recorded all the Becker flashcards, mnemonics, ALL the different types of opinions and anything else I thought I might need. I listened to this constantly. On my way to work, at work(with earphones), at the beach, you name it.

Hope my experience will give you some help.

    Good Luck~

Has anyone used a Roger cram for Audit before? I'm thinking I'll use that + Jeff's notes + Wiley Test Bank

I was thinking of doing the same. I have heard Roger is upbeat with tons of energy. I think that is what I need. I used Becker and Wiley test bank..which I thought was great for preparing me, so don't know what I did wrong.

    Best of luck…

And to you as well yankee. I've got a couple more shots at this before i start losing sections. My plan is to read, then rewrite Jeff's notes several times and do as many Wiley multiple choice questions as I can. Then about 2 weeks before the exam, I'll get the Roger cram session. Hopefully this will give me the extra 2 points I need…

sounds like a good plan. I think I will start off my rewriting and condensing al my notes, then Ninja notes, then mcq's out the ying yang, then the Roger cram.

    best of luck

I actually thought Timmy G does a great job in AUD for Becker. I can't really say the same for FAR at this point and we'll see for REG (fingers crossed)

Keep at it is my advice, you'll get there. Study, study, study!

I enjoyed gleim for their multiple choice questions. However, I've used Becker, Bisk, and Wiley stuff too where I learned from reading the material.

Try Becker alone, it is really good, that is how I passed mine

    Good Luck!

If you have the opportunity, I think Becker is great for Audit. Out of all 4 sections, they do the best at teaching audit I believe. I watched all the lectures first and got a decent understand of just what the material was going to be over and then I read through all of the material again and made sure I had an understanding. Read one lecture per day and then do all of the multiple choice before moving on to the next section, all the while making notes of the areas that you struggle. I think this gave me a good understanding of the material and then I just went over the areas that I struggled and the areas I had heard were heavily tested for the last 3-4 days before the test. Good luck!

    FAR (7/14/11) - 87
    AUD (7/25/11) - 82
    REG (8/8/11) - 77
    BEC (8/18/11) - 79

I've been taking notes like a madman. I went to staples and bought 2 twelve packs of the super long ugly yellow legal pads and have been going to town. I outlined every topic and I keep another open when I do the HW questions. Every time I miss a question I write it in the notebook.

    Hi everyone,

Congrats to those you was successful this quarter and to those like myself who didnt pass how we do next time.

I got a 58 in Audit (1 st attempt). I was planning to do FAR next but since i failed audit i am not sure that i should do both of them october-november or just retest for audit.

I felt that i fail from i finished my test because 2 of my Sims was straight from FAR material and i did not handle them well. I need some advise as to what to do for this quarter. Should i try to study for both test and sit for them this quarter or just retest for audit.

My fear is that i may see more sims from FAR and i am not able to manage them because i dont know the FAR material.

I use Bisk review last time and Jeff notes only. This time around I am using Wiley book + Ninja notes + wliey online test bank.

    Any advise????

    AUD - 58, 62, 56, OCT 2015
    BEC - August 22,2015
    FAR - TBD
    REG - TBD

BECKER LIVE CLASSES, BECKER TEXTBOOKS,FINAL REVIEW, FLASHCARDS/NINJA MCQS, NOTES AND AUDIO/WILEY FOCUS NOTES.

IF U TRY AND U DONT SUCEED, TRY AND TRY AGAIN...GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION.
