I took AUD about 2 weeks ago, and I failed with a 73. I ended up stronger on multiple choice and weaker on sims. I have read lots of reviews of people who have taken the exam, and the consensus was that it is HIGHLY likely to see some sort of FAR sim (ratios, adjusting entries, financial statements, etc) on the AUD exam.
However, AUD is my first exam, and I get the feeling that taking FAR first would have been the best choice because it gives you a good background for whatever AUD sim can throw at you.
I have been studying for a retake for AUD for about 2 weeks now, but I am getting thoughts and feelings of not wanting to take the risk of a retake because of the STRONG possibility of seeing a FAR sim on this retake.
My full-time job starts on July 20th. I figured if I stop studying for AUD, I can leave this remaining 4-5 weeks to study for REG.
What are your thoughts?
