Hey everyone, I just took my first Becker Final Exam and here are the results:
MULTIPLE CHOICE
– Testlet 1: 24/30 (80%)
– Testlet 2: 26/30 (86%)
– Testlet 3: 23/30 (76%)
SIMULATIONS
– Sim 1: 5/10 (50%)
– Sim 2: 4/5 (80%)
– Sim 3: 5/8 (62%)
– Sim 4: 8/10 (80%)
– Sim 5: 14/16 (87%)
– Sim 6: 1/5 (20%)
– Sim 7: 1/3 (34%)
(80+86+76)/ 3 = 242/3 = 80.67 x .60 = 48.4
(50+80+62+80+87+20+34)/7 = 413/7 = 59 x .40 = 23.6
48.4 + 23.6 = 72
That would be approximately a 72 right? Well, according to the (MCQ average x .60) + (SIMS Avg x .40) formula I’ve seen used. Is this the way that people typically score the Becker Final Exams?
I was wondering what anyone who has passed or scored highly on Audit recommends for the last week? I have only used Becker so far ( don’t have Ninja MCQ), and have gone through the HW one time (and have done none of the simulations or optional problem sets). I’m guessing a lot of people will recommend doing a lot of MC’s per day + review the MC’s done. I know it’s different for everyone, but is there a recommended amount to do each day? I’m basically trying to come up with a game plan, and I’d be willing to get the ninja MCQ for those that think it’ll help significantly.
Thanks to everyone! I lurk here all the time as I’ve been studying for CPA exams, and it helps so much to have a community to go to. I hope everyone who is studying for Audit is staying strong! 🙂
