Last Saturday when I took BEC I got a couple questions that if I hadn’t taken REG recently and studied AUD recently I would have missed. Then on my audit exam today one of my memos was a BEC topic that I would have missed for sure if I hadnt taken BEC last week. I normally use the research tab to search for answers but in AUD the research tab are auditing standards so I had to freestyle it.

Not in the multiple choice, but in the simulations. On my last audit exam (received a 74 last week), I had two tabs strictly on financial topics (not financial ratios either). It is really very aggravating because I'm sure I got zero credit on those tabs since I had not seen the material since college. It ended up costing me my passing grade. I'm gonna throw it back in their face with an 80 or higher next window though 🙂

Ive had similar experiences. On my AUD test I had a bunch of journal entries but i was given a heads up about it before so I was ready. On my BEC test this window I had a tax question but it was basic enough that I kind of remembered it and I guessed right…

There's a lot of overlap in these exams. It makes sense though as they are all intertwined in real life (although the CPA exams tend to have nothing to do with “real life.”)

Yep, On 5/28 I had AUD and there was on question that was definitely from FAR. I kinda blinked twice and silently thanked the Lord because it was from Becker lecture one…pretty simple…will probably be the test question that they throw out!!
