So I’m graduating with my MTX in May. Have oral exams on Thursday this week. Finally bit the bullet yesterday & filled out the application to sit for the CPA exam. After looking at dates, I’m planning to take 3 exams in the July/Aug testing window, as follows, assuming this works with Prometric:
FAR July 6
AUD Aug 3
BEC Aug 31
REG Oct 5
I feel like I’m weakest in AUD but everyone says to take FAR before AUD so that’s why I’m doing those 1st – want to save my strength (REG) for last to reduce risk of one of the exams expiring. I put BEC before REG because I figure studying for BEC in 4 weeks will be easier than studying for REG in that same amount of time. This is for real, y’all. I started community college in January of 2001 and now, 11 years later, I’m finally about to close the door on the formal education phase of my life. (Had a few breaks in between obviously). The whole time I’ve been staring down the barrel of the inevitability of this exam. I cannot express how badly I want to pass it in one shot. I have Becker (cd’s, books, and flash cards) and Ninja notes. I have time to study. There’s no turning back now!
