    Hi everyone!

    I originally planned to sit for AUD on 10/12 but I want to sit for it a week earlier so I can give myself more time to study for FAR (scheduled for 11/30). I finished going through all of the material 2 days ago and have been going through my notes ever since. Usually at this point in final review I’m desperately trying to relearn everything but since everything in AUD is interrelated I feel like I have a decent grasp on things (especially with more than 2 weeks to go).

    . I tried to move up my exam for the week before but there are no available seats on the weekends (I can’t do weekdays because I begin work and training at a Big 4 on 10/2).

    If I can’t get an available seat for 10/5 would it be completely counterproductive to begin F1 before taking AUD?

    REG - 7/20/13 --> 90
    BEC - 8/30/13 --> 85
    AUD - 10/6/13 --> 93
    FAR- 12/5/13

    Seats open up at Prometric all the time so keep checking. Also, consider going to another Prometric. I drove an extra hour for my last test for a better testing time on a Sunday.

    Yeah, seats often open up; plus, have you looked into taking the test at another Prometric center in a nearby city? There is no Prometric center in my city, so I have to choose between three different locations each about 75-90 miles away. It sucks, but at the same time, you're usually assured of taking the test whenever you want!

    If you aren't able to move your testing dates, I would say it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and study for FAR, but just be sure to leave a good day or two before the AUD exam to refresh your memory on the topics. Some have said that it is even helpful to be familiar with FAR topics when taking AUD……

    REG - 93 (7/30/13)
    BEC - 90 (8/19/13)
    AUD - 98 (8/31/13)
    FAR - 84 (10/19/13)

    I personally don't like doing it, but in your case it might help since you might be tested on journal entries on the AUD exam!

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14
