I got my score report for AUDIT. I got a 74.

    3 weaker in MCQ
    1 Stronger in MCQ

    Overall:

    Comparable in in MCQ
    Weaker in SIMS

My confusion is I got a 74. I would think lower? I am getting more convinced a candidate cannot pass without at least a comparable in SIMS.

Any thoughts? Not complaining just surprised

I'm trying to figure out my BEC score report too man. I got a 72 even though I scored stronger, comparable, comparable, comparable, weaker in the content areas. Stronger in MC, Weaker in W/C and SIMS.

Basically should have had this performance back during the old test format when I got a 73.

    BEC is kicking my ass.

@shawninva – I pretty much got a similar score report and the same score in AUD (Q2). I know if I got more of a SIM or two right I'd have probably passed. It sucks to be so borderline, I feel you. But I also don't think these score reports are super helpful either.

I just passed BEC with 80 on my first try…got ‘stronger' for the W/C. Focus on the key words..that is what I did.

I also just failed AUD with 73! BOO!

Whenever I got THAT dreaded letter, I just disregarded it and started over (after a good deal of howling at the moon).

Lets face it. If you didn't get 75 or better, you have a zero.

Instead, I remember which 2 or 3 topics really kicked my ass both in practice and on exam day. I researched the crap out of them–google for articles, YouTube, old college textbook.

Then I incorporated what I found into my CPA review notes.

Then do a block of 20 MCQs with that topic or topics until I get 80%.

Then repeat the last step for the other topics.

    Rinse and Repeat.
