I’m not sure whether I should keep practicing simulations while I take my audit course. It seems like alot of time to go through them when I could attempt other lessons. I heard it doesn’t matter if you practice simulations or not, as long as you know the material.

I took FAR before, and I don’t think it mattered how many simulations I practiced. But I only got a 75, so who knows?

I found it overwhelming during my first time through, and then would do them during my review. But I did do them during AUD just because that is my profession. I would review them to see the way they ask the questions.

Honestly, I didn't the first go round. Though, I am this time and I believe it's making me think differently (in a good way). Hopefully, it's a plus in this new format. I'm going to give it everything I have the next time.

I'm tired of operating in fear and mediocrity. It's time to try. It's time to do. It's time to go.

This is my second time on audit and i am practicing sims though some of sims are confusing and vague. I think i performed terribly on sims last time around. Hopefully i wont get hard sims and about difficult topics this time. Good LUCK.

Practicing sims helped me understand the lessons better. I think with mcq sometimes you don't see the full picture. I did them after going through all the lessons and multiple choice.

Yes, you should always practice the Sims. They test a different understanding of the material. I had one Sim that was exactly the same as my practice Sim. Too bad I ran out of time and did not pass. Goodluck!

I did a ton of SIMS, just to sort of get comfortable with them… Of course who knows what ends up being on the test, but at least I know I did hundreds of them in my prep!

You did *hundreds* of AUD SIMs? My review course (ROGER) doesn't even offer 100 SIMs! I think they have like 50, if that, for all of AUD. Where did you find so many SIMs to practice? Are they on Ninja or somewhere else?

@crazyleon-Ninja has 85 (so maybe not hundreds plural:) LOL My Becker course had at least that many, and I did them all:)

Sorry it was an exxageration, but i probably did a hundred between the two! Plus two mock exams which had 9 each…

Ah ok. I was thinking “how does someone do hundreds of AUD SIMs, even for practice?” That's good you worked them all. You will probably pass just on that basis alone – you probably worked every single kind of SIM that even the AICPA could think up! Knock on wood.
