So I took audit yesterday and found the simulations more or less straightforward but the multiple choice questions to be very detailed. I couldn’t feel any difference in difficulty between the test booklets. I went home and I know I got at least 7 questions wrong (some of them being straight from Becker)!!!! And that’s just based on what I remembered…

Did anyone else go through this feeling of questioning yourself on other questions based on ones you got wrong?

does a bear ish in the woods???? lol just having fun… Seriously everyone does. I personally think it's a good sign when u can remember the ones you got wrong… Also the sims is what make or break you. If you felt they were straight fwd I would think you passed

Don't worry about it. So many felt the way you do now and passed. People analyze how they did on the exam, but at the end of the day, many don't pass who thought they did and many pass who thought they didn't. You found the sims straightforward, so that's good…

There's nothing you can do about it now, so just relax and go on to the next thing. You'll find out soon how you did, and hopefully you passed!

oreo89, I took audit yesterday as well and felt almost the exact same way you did. I felt the multiple choice stayed very consistent throughout the test, the only difference I see between us is i dont think i did very well on the sims. So its not good for me to see that the sims make or break you lol. either way i thought I got maybe 3 of the 7 sims mostly correct. so im hoping I could scrape by some extra points on the ones i know i didnt get 100% correct. heres to hoping for the best.

Thank you all for your consoling words. 🙂 When people say they felt that they failed but later passed, is that based on checking the answers to some of their questions? Or just a feeling?

@oreo89, don't worry, you likely just knew your stuff. When I took AUD, I didn't feel the testlets get harder at all and 2 SIMs threw me completely off. I felt good about the exam but I was really worried about those SIMs and a handful of MCQs that I 100% flat-out guessed on. I unnecessarily started questioning my entire performance just because of a few silly questions.

My advice is don't bother checking the questions you remember because you'll just psych yourself out for nothing.

not sure about audit, but in almost every other section ive passed, I left saying I failed. I looked up things I got wrong, said mathematically it was impossible etc…

long story short, I passed most of the times i felt like that, a large majority of them. I remember I didn't finish (or did 100% wrong on) 2 simulations on two of the exams, still passed.

If the questions get more difficult, usually means you did well on the prior testlet and they are worth more (ie 2 if you get it, but still just 0 if you don't). That's what happened to me on one of the tests.

I'm retaking audit this month (18 month rule), so now you've got me a little nervous haha. although usually the sims trip me up so straightforward sounds good to me.

I was walking home and scanning my book to see. its not worth it.

Like I said, I basically figured it was mathematically impossible for me to pass, but then I passed.
