Hey everybody! Day before I take auditing and I have just done a 300 question multiple choice progress test on all areas. I got a 95% on this (287/300). I was wondering any suggestions on what I should do next today and/ or tonight!

    Thanks!!

    Relax. Maybe watch some TV.

I see you passed AUD! Do you think that based off of the progress test and comprehensive final exam scores both in the mid 80's that I am ready? I know nothing can fully prepare me but I am just nervous I guess!

I second the suggestion to relax. Each time I passed, I took the exam on a Monday. Saturday I spent all day studying similar to what you described, then on Sunday, I did a few MCQs (one or two 30 question sessions) and 1 or 2 SIMs. I was having similar scores to what you have on my MCQs. I would say it sounds like you are ready. Relax and enjoy your evening.

I think you'll do fine. To be completely honest, those scores are higher than what I've recieved before in practice exams.

The biggest thing you can do for yourself before your exam is relax and trust in your preparation. If you come to the testing center tense and nervous, I firmly believe that you quickly lose a lot of what you learned and the snowball effect happens. You begin to second guess your right answers, causing more stress and tension during the exam, creating further problems.

You put the time in studying and preparing. So enjoy yourself. Watch a movie that helps you relax. I prefer mindless comedies, for example. Maybe go for a walk if its warm where you are and clear your thoughts.

If you have an early exam, make sure you wake up with plenty of time to get yourself ready and fully wake up. If you have one that's later, try not to do too much to cloud your mind during the day. Occasionally think of concepts related to the AUD material you studied to make sure that you keep your mind geared that way.

Make sure you get all the rest you need both mentally and physically.

Dress comfortably, and in layers. It might be cold in the testing center.

…Also be sure not to drink a ton of coffee before you head to the exam.

Best of luck, but I'm sure you'll do fine.

Relax so you can give it your all during test day and not feel burnt out. Surprisingly, I've heard some stories of people showing up exam day feeling “burnt” and just going through the motions.

Watch The Wire. My new fav show hehe

    What everyone above said: RELAX.

I always took the night off before an exam to stay fresh.

    Good luck!!!!

I read through my notes, do a few progress tests, and then just relax. A 300 question progress test – bless you child! I get ADD sitting down for 100 questions!

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!
Still on a cloud and in shock. Through God, all things will happen.

Great suggestions everyone thank you! I am worried about the simulation questions but if I have the concepts down and getting the MC right hopefully that will help!

Be careful about dressing in layers. At my Prometric center you can't take anything off once you walk into the testing room. I made that mistake and dressed in layers for FAR and had to take a break in order to take my zip up sweatshirt off.

I know it's been said about 10 other times but really, to solidify the point, RELAX! Don't even for a second do one more MCQ. Your brain needs a second to breathe.

Also, have an awesome, reasonably healthy dinner and go to bed early. So good for the brain. I also always highly recommend doing something active the day of. I always do yoga before my tests to just chill out about it.
