In the tune of “It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to…”
**I failed Audit and I’ll cry if I want to, cry if I want to, cry if I want to, you would cry too, if it happened to you.***
I think you never get used to failing but after several failures, it doesn’t hurt as much. I know when I failed my first exam (FAR), it was as if the life was knocked out of me. On top of trying to get pregnant for years and then failing FAR, I felt like a Class A, don’t pass Go type of FAILURE. I cried so hard and I rarely cry. It took me five months to open another CPA review book. When, I failed REG the first time, it took me 1 week to get back on the study wagon. Now, that I have failed AUD, I plan to dive back into studying tomorrow around noon.
So, I will cry tonight and be stronger in the morning. It’s ok to vent, call the world stupid, curse your CPA books, and cry in the arms of the one you love…because a true failure is someone who gets knocked down and stays down.
To all those who passed, congrats, I aspire to be like you. To those who failed this window, keep your head up, the game isn’t over yet unless you want it to be!
btw, still not pregnant!
FAR Passed
REG Passed
AUD Passed
BEC PassedAll aboard, this train's leaving. Next stop, TBD!
