I have researched some prior posts on this topic but thought I would bring it up again…

I am wondering if anyone has had success with studying with audio supplements. I am about to start studying for AUD and have about 15 hours of driving to do this weekend so I thought I could download one of the available audio reviews so I wasn’t just waisting that time. I know that Yaeger has an audio review available and was wondering if anyone has any feedback on that one and if its worth it.

I also use Becker for the actual review but am looking for something that can give me an overview of the concepts to get a foundation.

I am mostly interested in listening while driving. I saw that Jeff thinks it might not be that effective for driving bc it might be hard to concentrate.

Thanks in advance. (Wow every one of those sentences began with I)

I used Kaplan's audio files for AUD, REG, and BEC and I thought they were great for supplementing what you have already learned. I don't think its very easy to pick up on new topics and grasp new topics doing it but it definitely helped me reinforce my knowledge and good for keeping concepts fresh in your mind. Every point counts and I feel I picked up at least a couple on those tests with the audio. Plus it doesn't feel like studying since you are driving anyway.

I have a big drive to do this weekend as well so I downloaded the Yaeger audio. As much as I'd rather listen to The Killers, I decided to try something to help me study.

I'm giving it a try today as I clean the house and I am 5 hours into it. I really like it. Since I have been watching the Yaeger lectures, it is a nice reinforcement of what I've been doing all along. Your using Becker shouldn't really matter though. I used Becker before and listening to Yaeger is just another way of learning.

You will find they put a different spin on some things (love Cindy's explanation of the fair value option) as well as you may chose to tune some of it out (like inventory – I need to SEE it done) and Phil saying “alright?” all the time.

    Seriously, I'd get it!

Thanks for the advice guys, I think I may give Yaeger a try. Ive heard that it is a great review so I'd like to get some exposure to it.

I totally know what you mean. I make this drive a couple times a month and love listening to my own music but I figure I might as well try and start absorbing this info now.

Does anyone have experience with the Wiley audio lectures. The latest version was realeased in March of 2009 and I'm wondering if the material is up to date enough for FAR.
