Could someone shed some light about covered members?

A partner or manager providing nonattest services to the client = covered member

A staff member who provides nonattest services to the client = not a covered member

Am I right and is there more to it?

Actually, a staff member who provides more than 10 hours of nonattest services to the client = a covered member. Also, any partners who could influence the engagement in the same office as partners on the engagement are covered. And anyone in the immediate family of a covered member must follow the covered member rules.
