    Which section are you studying?

Sounds like it might be AUD

I'm studying FAR, so I don't think I can help with this one.

    FAR - 86 - 2/27/14
    AUD - 75 - 5/29/14
    BEC - 80 - 8/31/14
    REG - 89 - 2/27/15
    Praise Jesus! I'm done!!

Not sure what your problem is but here is a basic explanation of each

the first three below deal with when you sell something:

Sales order – your customer is placing an order with you

sales invoice – the invoice you prepare for your customer

Bill of lading – document issued by the carrier (ups, fedex, common carrier) acknowledging that they received goods that you are shipping out)

Shipping documents – documents that you shipped an item you sold

The next three are when you are purchasing something”

purchase order – you are ordering from your vendor

Receiving reports – documents what goods you have received on a purchase order

purchase invoice – the invoice you receive from your vendor after receiving your goods

Materials requisitions are used if you are manufacturing something and you need to requisition materials from raw materials inventory to build a product.

Hope this helps,, Can you explain a bit more the problem you are having?

What exactly is confusing? Look up the definitions on google and see if that helps. Just know what those terms mean and apply them to the MCQs.

    BEC: 66 | 69 | 7/23/2013
    AUD: 8/28/2013
    REG:
    FAR:

@JTF, make sure you know the ORDER in which the forms are used in each cycle…. this will help you answer any question regarding directional testing (tracing and vouching). What materials are you using? If you're using Becker, the book has very good flow charts explaining the cycles. Also, Transaction Cycles are important to know, but don't beat yourself over them, there are way more important things you should know in AUD, (reports, types of engagements, ethics, audit process, sampling, etc)

Thanks everyone—I know it sounds dumb but for some reason those MC that center around those terms trip me up. I'm guessing the only thing I can do is just keep familiarizing myself with the terms. It's weird bc I grasp most areas with no issues but weird sections like these always trip me up.

Less than one week to go. After a long weekend of studying I feel ready. Just doing overall review this week on those areas I still struggle and I'm good to go

A little nervous but I'm anticipating my first pass!!!
