InactiveI’m retaking AUD tomorrow and up until tonight I felt pretty good about the material. I am now going back over all the questions that I have gotten wrong more than once and it is discouraging to say the least. I don’t know why, but I’m still getting the majority of them wrong AGAIN. Now I don’t feel like I am ready at all.

MemberI think you have to stop working on the questions and just give the exam with a clear head.
That's what I have done. I found audit is a tricky one, and having a clear head in the exam is critical to pass this one..
Best of luck!!

MemberDo whatever it takes so that you walk into that test room with confidence. You've put in the time. You've done the work. you gotta trust yourself. Don't stress about any questions you get wrong, they're nothing more than last minute opportunities for corrections. Just chalk it up to a little bit of overstudying. You can do this!
REG - 85
AUD - 99
FAR - 89 - w/ NINJA Audio and Blitz
BEC - 91Using Wiley - books and test bank - 6 months - all 4 first time

MemberI have a little story to tell you.
I took my BEC exam at the end of august. The day before my exam, I took a practice exam and scored in the low 70s That made me really nervous the day of the exam. I was so nervous that I almost threw up on the way to prometrics.
When I took my exam, I just kept telling myself to focus on working the questions and don't let the negative thoughts distract me. I started to get more confident as I worked through the questions. When I got my mark on score release day. I got an 85
So don't worry so much about not getting some of the questions right. I think it's more important to know a few topics really well than know a little bit about each topic.

InactiveThanks everyone. I stopped working on questions and will just review my notes one more time tomorrow. Relaxing now with NCIS. I appreciate the advice. It's a great feeling to know I can come here with anything I'm experiencing during this difficult journey and find others that have gone through the same thing. Thank you again.

InactiveI think you're ready. If you have time tonight go over your notes, if there's a point you know is a trouble part close your eyes and try to associate the problem area with something familiar and possibly unrelated to accounting. If you can wakeup and do 20 MCQs to warm up a couple hours before your test I'd do a sampling of 2-3 from each module and quit so you don't burn yourself out. This is just a brain warmup, give yourself time before your test. Very important to remember is that you may not at first know the right answer, in those instances pick out the WRONG answers first and remove them from the choices. Carefully re-read the question and pick out any hot-button words and make sure not to read entire question. I bet you'll be able to quickly narrow choices down to 2 and go with your first choice from there, I' bet you'll choose right. On the SIMS make good use of the AL. I was able to use the AL for 4 or 5 of the SIMs and was surprised how useful it was even though I had even done many TBS prior to the exam. Do your best and stick through it giving each question proper (but not too much) attention and you will do great. I thought I bombed the test when I left (noting I didn't think I got variances in difficulty levels of testlets among other things) and it turns out I passed. You can do this, I was super confident going into the test and felt like I got sucker punched from the very first question so the only thing that matters is that you prepared to the best of your ability! Good luck!
