Be honest with me. I have been studying hard and seem to be going backwards in my score results. Today I took a full blown 90 question 7 sim test and scored a 69. Overall my average is higher (weaker in some stronger in others).Using Wiley test bank.

If I had to take the test tomorrow do I even have a shot at passing? I just can’t study any more, I can troll for the next week and maintain what I have but other than that I am spent. Please dont give me the “focus on your weak areas” advise), No shit…of course that’s what I’m doing. I have to pass this AUD, because I failed BEC with a 70 and can’t take a back to back fail. I have a very bad feeling it’s going to be harder than Wiley. For some reason Im doing better on cpaexamfor free. I just dont know if I’m going to bomb.

Real opinions please – I hate this process !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you just did your Wiley quiz, did you select all questions? I'm giving myself a quiz now (I'm on my 5 min pomodoro break 😉 ) on just the questions I've book marked. Every question I get wrong in Wiley I ALWAYS book mark it. This way at the end of my review I just give myself quizzes on ones I've bookmarked, those ones are generally harder. I know that's not really advice. I'm nervous too for AUD, more nervous for the SIM 🙁 Sorry I have no real advice! Have you memorized Becker's flashcards? Those are definitely the best for AUD

You are having a classic pre-exam meltdown. I you have studied correctly (by this I mean invested quality time to learn and understand the concepts) you will have no problems…

I think that the trick with AUD is knowing your basic FAR concepts and of course the reports rules… Don't be afraid.

If you understand AUD rules you will be fine. AUD is more logical than practical. You will do fine…

What is the worst that could happen… 74?

What really helped me with AUD, the day before I practiced A LOT of questions from cpareviewforfree.com. I would go even further and say that 15% of the questions were almost identical to the ones in the test… Try them.

@peanut, I didnt take a practice exam I took a full exam which I dont think gives you the option of bookmarking. I appreciate the adive no need to apologize.

@jokami, I agree I am having a meltdown. I forgot to add that with my 69 score I didn't complete a sim that was a spreadsheet and you had to fill in formulas. I could not understand how to format the cells. I have been using excel for 15 years and couldn't figure out how this damn thing wanted it. Thank you for responding, I see a high 60's coming my way next week and feel like punching a wall because I could have spent the last 6 weeks playing with my kids. What a wast of time when I figure in the BEC fail, thats 12 weeks pissed away. How do people pass this thing. I am not an idiot and I try, I just dont get it.

Don't worry… But really work questions from the cpareviewforfree.com. They really helped me!

My status for the moment: Sad.

My husband and my daughter left and are having a great day at the beach and mom is here… trying to study maybe for nothing because she might fail her next exam… This is when you ask yourself; is it really worth it?

AAAAAAANNNNDDDD… About back to back failures… I might join you in that club because: I for sure did not pass BEC and I don't know what REG has for me… I understand the concepts and know the laws, but what if I mixed everything up!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Jokami – me too, my kids and wife are having a great day, swimming in the pool now hanging with the neighbors. It's like 85 degrees outside, but based upon my scores and how I feel it's real cold. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day studying for us. That research question is really important for AUD, 6 points in either direction could kill me. The sims seem really hard too because all though we know the material at least two of the answers are so similar. Thanks again for the encouragement. I'm taking a break for now and will get back to studying in a few hours. Good luck on your journey, keep us posted.

I have a question for that one: Is it possible for the search question to be a pretest?

My AUD search question was straight forward and found it quickly, but my FAR search question…. I STILL have not found it!!!!!!!! I was that shocking!!!!!!

Considering I had to look up the definition of “orthographic” I'd say you're doing just fine.

Regarding research questions, did you have more than one? I have heard of people having two in their sims, and in that case I would think one might be pretest. But if you only had one, unfortunately I bet it counts. I was the opposite. I think it took me 10-15 minutes to find my AUD answer, and I found the FAR one literally within 15 seconds. I spent another few minutes just making sure because it was so easy I couldn't believe it. Don't worry about it, though. Won't do any good until you see your score.

I was eating while reading your post… I almost choke there. Made me laugh…

With orthographic I mean: misspelling, errors in punctuations and so forth… Is that, in Spanish, we usually say: “errores ortograficos”; so it was a direct translation on my part. Didn't think of it, while writing.

No, I only got one research question for both of them… But you don't understand. I think that is the only questions that still today, I took FAR in Oct. I have not found yet!!!!!! NOTHING!!!! NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!

One last thing:

You mentioned that it was 85 degrees outside… Where I live is 85 degrees all year long and a “beach day” is any day of the year.
