Can someone confirm this about AUD simulations

Is it true that only the clarified AU (AU-C) are tested on simulations? For instance, on several of my Becker simulations I have located an answer in the AU section that is basically identical to the AU-C standards and Becker refers me to the AU-C standard rather than the AU standard.

    Thanks

btw – this isn't questioning something that would violate exam policy disclosure because I think I've read that the AICPA said that only AU-C standards would be tested for simulation purposes. I just want to confirm.

    BEC 88 5/25/2013
    FAR 96 7/01/2013
    AUD 99 7/08/2013
    REG 93 8/01/2013

I think someone mentioned that Clarity standards apply to the audits of non issuers and the 10 standards still apply to issuers. So I would say of your questions states audit of a nonissuer then you would pick AU-C and if they say issuer then you would go wit AU.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.
