    Sounds like you memorized MCQs rather than learning them?

    What was the score for your Becker and Wiley practice final the very first time you took it?

    It's a little difficult to help without knowing more. What did you do with your 200+ hours? Have you taken any of the other sections yet, or is this your first? Did you read all of the right AND wrong answers for the MCQ's? Did you re-watch video lectures?

    @constantpainagain,

    Regroup and study….new notes, renewed spirit, utilize all your tools. Sometimes we are so focused on getting done, or keeping up with others until we miss taking the proper time to let the information soak in. 200hrs might be the target, but do I really know the material or logging hours. Slow down and regroup.

    I had a miserable score too..(too shame to tell) but I re-evaluated my plan and realized I was not using all my tools (Wiley test bank, ninja audio and notes, textbook, lecture ,etc.). Regrouping can be tedious but you can do it….Just do it.

    It begins with a 75

    It is not about the hours you put in, it is about understanding the material. If you can't explain to someone in your own words why a question is wrong or right you may just be memorizing. If you are getting in the 80s on your MCQ questions on your test bank it would be hard for me to think you would do much worse on those during the exam. If your problems are with the SIMS, you may need different advice but I find it hard to believe that anyone could go into a test and not know if they are going to pass or bomb the MCQ problems because the test banks seem to be such good predictors.

    Constantpainagain,

    Is this your first section of the exam? How is your Financial Accounting Cache? Sometimes the Audit exam will include questions that require an embedded knowledge of Financial Accounting concepts. It might be wise to brush up on Financial Accounting before sitting for Audit again.

    AUD: 94 (Nov. 2013)
    FAR: 76 (Oct. 2013)
    BEC: 79 (Nov. 2012)
    REG: 84 (Dec. 2013) It's Mile 26.2, and we finished. Blood, sweat and tears, passion, perseverance, and never giving up, we did it!

    I have taken BEC passed with a 76….and i have taken REG three times (took third today hope it works out well)…….on a side note I have no audit experience …during my 200 hour+ spent I viewed the lecturers, took notes, heck I even had flash cards, and did MCQ after MCQ from both Wiley and Becker……I did not fair well on my Becker FInal Review Exam I believe I scored in the 50s….but I did the same for BEC and squeezed it out……and I really tried to learn from my mistakes on the MCQ but I really thought I did a lot better then a 46…..I really do not know how to evaluate my study plan since I did everything recommended……any helpful advice much appreciated….
