Hi Guys,

I’m having trouble with remembering certain concepts in Audit. Wanted to ask if you guys had any study tips other than writing copious amounts of notes. How many MCQ per day would you attempt? Were Becker SIMS helpful? I’m taking the test Aug. 10th, would love some feedback. I’m also studying 6-8 hours per day and wanted the most yield out of the time.

Best advice for audit is to cram the videos as fast as possible.
Audit is very subjective and conceptual. You absolutely need to see the big picture. Be able to see the forest for the trees as they say.

Once you understands the steps and process of an audit, then you can fill in the details and get down to the nitty gritty stuff.
Cram videos and then work the MCQs to fill in the gaps.

Also be sure to do that AICPA sample exam (preferably twice a week apart).
I had some questions that were very very close to the sample exam, so it was tremendously helpful.
Not the same words or numbers, but valid concepts.
