@Givemesleep.. im taking audit this sunday! i feel the same… but audit seems pretty straight forward.. the key for me doing the MCQ's has been reading and re-reading the question and answers.. its all about how they word it.. otherwise most of this stuff is common sense when you think about it. Good luck! ill let you know how I do this sunday. Im afraid of the sims, so im practicing those this week.

    BEC - Passed
    REG - 7/21/2012
    AUD - 8/18/2012

@rezaking – I agree, getting bored with it. It seems logical unlike, thats what scares me. What are your weak areas? Mine are reporting, evidence and borderline ith auditing with IT.I think I'm gonna fail with a 62 or get a 75.

AUD for everyone. The same thoughts are creeping in my head since I received my FAR score yesterday. Government reporting is giving me a fair amount of trouble. I just learned it today and have IT tomorrow. Review for the next 4-5 days.

I agree.. ive been having trouble with the reports as well.. other areas are pretty straight forward.. especially having BEC done helps with the internal control section a lot.. because most of those are the same exact things we learned in BEC.. I really think itll come down to carefully reading the questions and the options available. narrow your answers and choose the one that makes the most sense.. again.. i think most of audit is common sense especially when it comes to transaction cycles, evidence gathering, etc. good luck to you all! and im sure we will all pass it this week. and dont forget to use the research tab.. 4 hours is plenty of time for audit.. youll have time to double check everything. I talk like ive taken it before but i havent.. just what ive heard.

I just took AUD at the end of Jan and got my score back today.

Some advice. For me, I was able to finish the exam with a full hour to spare. Compared to FAR, this test is a lot easier (ironically though, I scored higher in FAR). So take your time with each testlet…read the question twice to make sure you know what it's asking.

For the SIMS, make use of the research tab if possible. I did not use it and didn't even think about it until I started reading this site after my exam. Luckily though, I was “stronger” in SIMS on my comparative report so it seems like it's not entirely bad if you don't remember to use it. Some SIMs can't make use of the research tab, but others can.

Since there are hardly any questions that require any calculations, you end up with more spare time, so again, use those extra minutes to thoroughly go through the questions/sims.

    Good luck.

    FAR: 87
    AUD: 86
    BEC: 86
    REG: 84! Officially Done!

I am in the same boat…AUD is my last part..I just cant seem to study and I test 2/29~i've already decided that I'll probably retake it the first week in April..I just cant seem to find the motivation to study…im just finishing A4–hate the transaction cycles…can't seem to get them and I think its just b/c I can't be bothered to read this…its so boring 🙁

I want to pass AUD so much because then I can just use the blackout month and redo my weak areas of BEC (got a 70) and try to eak out a 10 point cushion and pass. This weekend I am spending 8 hours just on reports and then 8 hours on evidence/sampling. The comp and review I know well, averaging 95% I do alot of that at work. I hear it usually is heavily tested.

    Bad attitude?-Check.

I didn't feel good going into Audit from the get go. My FAR retake screwed up my schedule and since my NTS expires, I was forced to take it in February.

This will be a practice test for me. I feel ok with Evidence and I/C…yep-that's about it.

It's going to be a long weekend.

Oh and Cashmoney10-sorry to hear about your FAR test. Good luck to you all this week!

If y'all are short on time for AUD, focus on reports , types of audits/engagements for issuers and nonissuers, and Internal Control.. and for SIMS, no point in stressing about them, just be familiar with using the Research SIM and make sure you use it as much as you can!

@jenuno01-Me love you long time. LOL! Thanks for the advice!

Everyone seems to stress using the research tab for SIMS. I will definitely be doing that! Thanks!!
