On the auditing exam, how important is auditing with technology? In the CSO, there is really no exact amount that says it will be on the exam. Has anyone received any questions on the exam for this? For anyone who has taken auditing, should I bother even going over this, or just simply stick to the other heavily tested materials. Thanks

There are definitely areas that are much more important, but I do suggest reading this section a couple of times and working some MCQ's at least once.

First of all exam disclosure is a no-no.

Secondly this is a really great way to fail.

The content of these tests varies greatly- they generally test between x and x% but I do think it varies some. Per my review course as much as 10% could be IT.

Why would you skim over an entire section unless you had a huge time crunch? Also quite frankly there isn't that much information there. No big deal to actually study it.

It went ok. I expected to fail FAR and got a 91, so I've decided to stop guessing.

Like on my previous tests I didn't see any sims that were super unfair. One of the audit sims was super hard (to me), and one didn't really make a ton of sense. It was one where you had to pick the answer from a list. For a few of the answers the available answers didn't make a lot of sense. The other one was something that was covered in debt but the application was tricky.

MCQs- hard to say there too. On FAR the questions certainly got harder, but I didn't really notice much on REG or AUD. We will see I guess! I'll have a better guess once I get my REG score.
