Just took the audit exam today. I’ve done several thousand multiple choice question from Wiley’s so I thought that I was pretty prepared especially considering that I have heard people say that it wasn’t as hard as FAR and REG. Having already taken and passed FAR I thought that this was going to be a cakewalk.

I was wrong.

I would say that it felt harder while taking it than FAR. FAR the mcq were tough but I felt I hit them more or less all while doing the Wiley’s MCQ, but most of audit’s exam MCQ seemed to be completely different angles that Wiley’s MCQ didn’t hit.

I thought that this was supposed to be one of the relatively ‘easier’ exams!

I took AUD a couple of days ago and I felt the exact same way as you. I did about 4k or so multiple choice questions between Becker and Wiley and felt really prepared walking into this one. I already passed REG and BEC and I thought the multiple choice on my AUD exam was more difficult than both of those. I thought it was going to be easier too, especially with how much I prepared for this test. I just hope I didn't underestimate it too much.

Well, now I am really scared! After reading all the posts on here and studying for the AUD exam, there is NO WAY that I would assume this exam is easy! There are SO MANY questions they can come up with for the evidence that it is really hard to prepare for this part unless you really understand the auditing objectives…..so yeah, good luck to me…….I hope I can get a 75! They cannot test JUST on evidence, and I think I should be OK with all other topics…. Hope you guys pass!
