yes, you have access to all of the tabs when doing the sims.
just took my AUD retest on saturday…first testlet was pretty easy, second one was harder, and third one was harder still. sims were pretty straight forward, i feel pretty good about this one. now to wait for scores and study for my REG retest on 8/28…hopefully done after that (although I'm real nervous about my FAR score from 7/6)
Does anyone recall the order that scores were released last testing window? I know that I received my FAR score on May 26 (sat in GA), but if I recall, wasn't AUD released a tad bit earlier? Due to my husband's travel schedule and conflicts with the kids, I've had to move up my BEC exam from Aug 30 to the 21, and I think the chance of me getting my AUD score before then is probably nil…
Thanks, CPAWannaBe. There were no seats available on the 21st, so I'm taking it the 23rd. Probably still won't have the score…which might actually be a good thing.
Now, I have to ramp up BEC since I'm losing a week of studying. I have my master's in finance and 9+ years in banking, so I should be good…except for IT. Blech.
HI GUYS. RIGHT NOW I'M STUDYING FOR BEC, BUT I CAN'T GET AUDIT OUT IF MY MIND. DID SOMEONE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE AS ME AND STILL MANAGED TO PASS AUDIT?
MY FIRST TESTLET WAS VERY EASY AND I COMPLETED IT IN 31 MINUTES.
THE SECOND TESTLET WAS VERY HARD AND IT TOOK LIKE 45-50 MINUTES TO COMPLETE.
THE THIRD TESTLET WAS LIKE AN IN BETWEEN THE FIRST TWO.
IF SOMEONE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
I just took my exam and I am concerned about my written communications tab. I had so much time left for my simulations that I was able to use the research tab to write my communication. Although, I did not copy my entire memo word for word, I do have certain sentences copied directly from the research tab. Can someone tell me if I will get docked for this? Has anyone done this and still passed?

i wouldn't be all that concerned with written communications. as long as you use proper grammar and spelling, and present a halfway coherent thought i'm pretty sure you're ok. you don't need to write a novel for these…i've only used the research tab once for the written communications (it was a topic i was completely clueless on).
