I also took FAR last. Personally, I felt the most confident leaving the test center after my FAR exam. I haven't received my FAR score back, however. I didn't think I'd get any more confident than AUD, but if you put the time in, you will do fine. I only used my Wiley book for all the exams.
I actually was supposed to take it 8/31, but I pushed it to 10/30. I knew I wasn't going to pass because I didn't give myself enough time between AUD and FAR, given work schedules and all. I figure this will give me more time, and my work load should be lighter. There's SO much material in FAR though, and less time. I have no idea how that'll work. I spent all 4.5 hours on audit, and there weren't even any calculations in it.
@hammy036 and geaux11 Oh believe me, I plan on putting in the time.
geaux11, would you recommend Wiley? I'm currently using Becker, but I feel like for FAR, I'd like to have some additional materials, just so I cover my bases.
I used Becker only and actually was a tad p'od when I finished because there were several topics from the Becker book that were not even touched on once in my FAR exam. Of course you never know what you're going to get (thanks Forest) so you have to learn everything…there's the rub.
I would definitely recommend Wiley. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, and our last semester is strictly a CPA Review for FAR, AUD, and REG. Wileybooks were the only books that were used for our classes. I think our professor may have pulled a few quiz/exam questions from Gleim, but other than that, I didn't touch anything else for FAR. I don't recall being tested on anything I had not previously seen.
So, God has a destiny for all of us. The first part that I took was FAR and I killed Far with a 92. Then, I took AUD and I failed with a 71, overconfidence
