@GU Josh – When you are saying that it worked, you mean that you saw your status change? I kinda checked without really understanding what this loophole really was. I was very confident I passed as well and I'm mad that I checked because its givign me doubts. I just think it also has to do with the status of your NTS. NASBA rep informed me that it would become available if your NTS expired yet you do not have a passing score in the system. I think if your status changes either way its a good or bad sign obviously depending on how it changes. I know that either way I either passed or I'm close and retesting would not be a huge deal. I just hate this and want to know. Good luck to you.

When I got a 74, my status did change. It went from “all in process” to me being able to check the AUD box. It was so clear cut that I knew it was right. Did your status change or were you able to check the AUD box the first time you tried? If you were only able to re-register after your NTS expiration date, there still may be hope for you. I don't know as your scenario is new to me.

Thanks and good luck to you too. I will be so glad when this hell is all over.

Josh – Right I feel like i'm not the usual case so not all hope is lost. My NTS had also been extended. I didn't bother checking before i took my exam bc why would I? (My NTS expired the day I took it and we have been waiting for scores for over a month) I feel like the status changes are more of a tell-tale sign. I checked on friday and today and it is still letting me re-register for Audit – so it's being consistent with me as far as I know. Let's hope it changes to grayed out once I pass. However, I won't be checking again until I see my passing score. How is that for being positive!!! 🙂 Me too – hopefully sooner than later.

If you checked Friday, and it let you re-register, then you've definitely got hope. Most people I'm seeing said they saw their status change. No one was able to re-register on Friday. Even I checked it on Friday just cause I was antsy about it, and it was all in process. I'm hearing that most people had their status change yesterday. Only about 30 hours left!

Gosh – One more Q – When did your status change for you. The morning the scores were actually uploaded?

Yes, I checked over and over. It did not change until the morning of the day you could see your score on the NASBA page.

Thanks Josh – that definitely makes me feel a little better. I was def able to re-register on Friday. Right because most people don't wait until the last possible day on their 6 month NTS -to take their exam LOL Only me 🙂

ahhh more hope!! Thanks. Yeah I'm not about to check it anymore ever – so not worth it!!! If you will find out that night for sure anyway I don't see the point in driving yourself crazy.

Bauer CPA- Yours seems different then normal. I have always used the loophole and it always worked for me. It always changes from “all in progress” to being able to register for the next one. I hope you do end up passing!

    FAR- 80, REG- 72,69, 77 (this felt great), BEC- 74 retake on 8/26, AUD- 72, 79

I didn't do it for my last exam (FAR), and it was the best day of my life. It's so much better to just see your score and know for certain. If you felt really good about your exam, there's a good chance you got it. We just had to score in the top 45% or so. I, personally, don't see how I could fail considering it was a retake and I got a 74 before and I was jumping up and down when I left the exam.

Post your score when you get it, I'll post mine. We can exchange stories about how we passed 🙂

Thanks! Yeah mine is screwed up i think so may not follow this whole loophole theory to a T. Felt I should post to put more scenerios out there. I can't say odds are in my favor but hoping for the best.

Josh – ha Yes, let's 🙂 I'm sure you got it. I really walked out of there thinking I did enough to pass so I hope you are right. I was more confident than when I walked out of REG and I passed. The MC were not bad. I know that i got both research right and I answered both communications – not stellar but complete and professional. I guess the good thing about this is that I feel like I went through all of the feelings of failing so I'm prepared for whatever gets thrown at me.

I don't remember if it was over a weekend, but it would have been a Monday in that instance. It was on the morning of the NASBA release (business day).

He said morning that NASBA released actual scores – so Monday. There are like 10K+ scores or so and not all have been released…so I would imagine they upload in waves or batches and not everyone's “status” will change simultaneoulsy.
