haze – no a bunch of them are from the cma exam… i think those are mostly in the supplemental sections…. just understand how to do it if you can't get all the computations 100% correct….
@Michelle119, Supplemental section? You must be using Becker? I am using Yaeger…..I have noticed that the book reference the CMA but I didn't know the questions were from the CMA exam.
I just found out I got a 73 on AUD ughhhhhhhhh 2 measley points and now I have to dish out some more cash!
Anyway I'm trying to plan my future exams BEC (bombed — retake) and REG (have not sat yet)…I'd like to retake BEC before Jan 11 however my NTS for REG expires at the end of December therefore i have to take it in Nov! What luck!
I think it may be a stretch taking AUD and BEC in one month unless I can somehow review and take aud by 10/9 leaving around 3 weeks for BEC to study again. REG i'd take Nov 29/30.
I say take AUD and BEC, my whole plan was that if I failed any of those I would just forfeit my fees on my REG exam…. I would say take AUD over BEC… AUD is getting a whole bunch of stuff such as IFRS and something else, BEC is just going to have writing…. You can probably take AUD around then, gives you almost 2 weeks if you missed it by 2 points, buy a cram get it rushed to you and bang out mcq's and address your weak areas… Best of luck!
Thanks Michelle, i'd hate to forfiet the fees though…gets expensive retaking these damn things…I may try taking both AUD and BEC and then just wing it for REG if I dont have enough time to studay for it in full….
your scores are impressive…what is your study strategy? Are you 3 for 3???
Yes I am 3 for 3…. I study a lot in a short amount of time…. I was studying full-time all summer and through a week or two ago…. so I was getting 100-160 hrs / exam in… REG I'll probably only get about 80-100…. oh well I'll take a fail in something that isn't changing much….
I really really wish the State of North Carolina would unclench their little fists and release our audit scores already. It has been a WEEK and they have not even mailed them yet.
Got my score at 4am this morning in Texas. PassedAUD with a 75!!! Can't believe it. I found out just in the nick of time as I start my job in public accounting as an auditor on Wednesday. It is a huge relief to know that I won't have to worry about studying and working at the same time. Good luck to all who are still taking the exam.
