Anybody know when the predictions are for AUD Wave 1?

I took the test 8/6 – Don't even know if that qualifies for wave 1

    BEC - 93
    FAR - 94
    AUD - 95
    REG - 99

Hoping for AICPA release of BEC today (Monday) and AUD release Wednesday. This would put the NASBA score release for AUD on Thursday night. So confident I passed, but it's not making me feel any better. I will break down and cry if I get anything below a 75.

    AUD - 74, 87; BEC - 84; FAR - 78; REG - 79

WOO HOO! My kids and husband started school this morning. Now I can get in a workout before work and start on A5 today.

With the impending AICPA score release I am really going to have to make myself focus and not check Twitter, NASBA, Another 71….

hopingfor75…I took AUD on 8/6 as well. I'm pretty sure we should get our scores in wave 1. The cutoff is normally the 7th of the second month in a testing window.

    FAR 89 REG 88
    BEC 85 AUD 82

Oh man that would be so nice if they cam out this week. Then I could start studying for FAR (if I pass)

    BEC - 84, REG - 87, AUD - 87, FAR - last day possible in 2010

What is the expected order for the release of the tests? And does the AICPA ever release results for more than one test in one day?

    BEC - 84, REG - 87, AUD - 87, FAR - last day possible in 2010

I just took Audit and I am not happy at all. . . the first set of questions were great. . . the second set were hard but not awful and neither was the third set. . Even the fist simulation was fine. . . the second simulation was awful. I did not know the answer to the question, it was not in my Becker review material and to make matter worse the research tab was not easy either. I probably missed it. . . It is frustrating to go through all the effort of the review material and then get simulations that you are not familiar with. . . I hope that I got a 75

I just took my audit exam and I don't know how I did but I hope for a chance of passing.

1st MC testlet was ok but I struggled with the 2nd & 3rd. It's not that the questions were terrible, pretty much all of them were out of the becker passmaster but i just couldn't remember some of the concepts. I made a lot of educated guesses.

Simulations: all my sims were totally FAR sims, with journal entries and all. I don't understand how someone who hasn't taken FAR would get it right unless they just graduated college. I don't know if similar stuff was in the practice simulations because I haven't done any.

When it came to time it wasn't an issue at all, finished the MC testlets in 1.5 hours and had 3 hours for the sims. Was done 1 hour early so 2 hours for sims is enough. I'm just glad it's over and hopefully not just for now 🙂

But if I failed, I don't have anyone to blame but myself because I only studied for 8 days.

    Moving to BEC now!

    big shot cpa:

I had an opposite experience, at least in terms of content.

Not a single reference to FAR, at all!

I'm almost done with B1 and I found more FAR redundance here than in the whole AUD course.

Other than that, we had a pretty similar exam experience though. I also had three hours left for the sims and took my time, especially abusing the research function to answer many sim tabs.

I only studied a week, but I feel better about AUD than I feel about FAR, seriously.

    FAR - 7/26/10 - 95
    AUD - 8/10/10 - 88
    BEC - 8/31/10 - 88
    REG - 10/15/10 - 95

big shot cpa I have the same experience in my Auditing exam when I took it. Most of my sims are more or less applicable for FAR which I am now currently studying for my next exam. I took time to answer the 2 sims so I can gather more points to improve my chance of passing!

    BEC 2/8/10 - 75 (studied hard & prayed less)
REG 5/15/10 - 88 (studied less but prayed hard)
AUDITING 8/9/10 - 79 (studied hard and prayed hard)
FAR 11/30/10 - 79 (studied hard and prayed hard) Thanks GOD! I'm DONE

There is a conlict in the notes provided by Yeager and the questions on the Wiley test, I wanted to see if someone could confirm which is correct. The notest state that the auditors report should be dated on the Report Release Date, but the questions always reference last day of fildwork. I wanted to get this correct as I would think this is tested.

    FAR - 95
    AUD - 82
    REG - 94
    BEC - 84

gabe1475 in Gary's lectures(Yaeger HS) he clarified that the date of the report USED to be the last day of fieldwork but NOW they are using the Report release date as the date of the auditor's report. Either of the two is correct. In my opinion, in actual exam they might use one or the other but NOT both. You will do fine in the exam keep it up!

    BEC 2/8/10 - 75 (studied hard & prayed less)
REG 5/15/10 - 88 (studied less but prayed hard)
AUDITING 8/9/10 - 79 (studied hard and prayed hard)
FAR 11/30/10 - 79 (studied hard and prayed hard) Thanks GOD! I'm DONE

So I know this has probably been beat to death already but Becker Final exams, how do they compare in Audit. I got in the 50s the first time I took them, basically before I started studying just for me to get a benchmark and just did one now and got a 80, 73, 73 and a 75 (average) on the simulations without writing communications. Should I just keep going over my weak areas? I'm debating whether to put the money into buying Wiley since I think Audit is my weakest area, aka not having a good professor in college and just graduating college in May without any audit experience. I still have a week and a half to study and am doing this full-time so I want to pass this on the first time around not to have to deal with the exam and working and going to graduate school all at the same time. Any advice?

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96

Thanks Suzzette1 one of the questions in Wiley actually listed bot the Completion of Fieldwork and report release date and is why I was concerned when I got it wrong. The other is the letter from managment has to be through the date on the report so they could ask two questions about this date. I guess use the through report release date if it is there, and end of fildwork if not.

Michelle119 – not sure how much of the text you could get through in that much time, it would probably be best to get another set of questions (Wiley or similar) and study from that by doing all questions or focusing on your weak areas.

    FAR - 95
    AUD - 82
    REG - 94
    BEC - 84
