Oh, hi, anagha – I remember you from when I was waiting on FAR. How are you? Great job on your scores so far! Very impressive! I'm scheduled for REG on 10/15, and I'm just finishing up on R7 (Becker) right now. This section seems like it will be tough. I had an easier time with the AUD section, although, I have doubts as I wait anxiously for my score. I've seen a lot of other people who have thought they performed well on AUD and were surprised by a low score.

How is your REG studying coming?

    FAR - 94 (7/10)
    AUD - 99 (8/20)
    REG - 99 (10/15)
    BEC - 88 (11/20)

Jan- thanks, I am now waiting on REG; I took it on 08/31. You most probably have done very well on AUD too- you just don't know it yet!! Also, wanted to ask you- which accounting courses have you taught and where? And good luck with REG! If you are finishing up R7, you are looking at a good 3 week review before you take the exam.

Anagha – I can't imagine how great it must feel to be done with all of these exams! You must be on cloud nine! With as well as you did on the other exams, you probably nailed REG too. Now that you've taken all four parts, which did you feel was most challenging? How does REG compare to FAR for difficulty?

I teach at the two-year level through a community college system in Wisconsin. I teach a lot of accounting courses, like Accounting 1, Accounting 2, Intermediate Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Governmental/Nonprofit Accounting, Payroll, Personal Tax, Business Tax, Financial Math, and Peachtree/QuickBooks stuff.

I sure hope I passed AUD. I've not taught that class, but I worked in auditing for a while, and that helped, I believe.

    I love this board.

    FAR - 94 (7/10)
    AUD - 99 (8/20)
    REG - 99 (10/15)
    BEC - 88 (11/20)

Wow, you teach all that good stuff!

I thought FAR was the hardest, more because the nature of the questions on the actual exam than anything else. Some of them seemed just foreign to me. And I never have a good feeling about the sims on these exams- forget about nailing them!!…You'll likely find REG easier, though it does have a lot of little specifics and exceptions to remember….

I thought FAR was pretty tough too, even though I got a good score. The sims were very challenging, as you mentioned. I'm dealing with some study fatigue now – working and studying is all I do, it seems. Oh well . . . it's temporary, right?

Where are you located, and what are your plans after you pass your last section?

    FAR - 94 (7/10)
    AUD - 99 (8/20)
    REG - 99 (10/15)
    BEC - 88 (11/20)

    Hi Jan and Anagha-

I was reading your posts and so far I also think that FAR was the hardest. Now I began to study for my last test REG and I feel overwhelmed. I'm using GLEIM Review course, same that used for the other sections, I do not know if it gives you so much details or it is just me, but I'm still stugying law concepts and they look very dense to me. I'm very concern about this exam. Any tips? Thank you!

argentina – Ughh . . . I know what you mean about the REG section. It's overwhelming, especially the business law stuff. I've spent a ton of time on it so far, and I still have a long way to go over the next few weeks. I'm using Becker, and I notice that I have trouble keeping pace with their schedule. It always takes me longer than I'd like to get through the material to really know it well. I have found Becker's flashcards to be helpful in learning the theory parts, especially.

    FAR - 94 (7/10)
    AUD - 99 (8/20)
    REG - 99 (10/15)
    BEC - 88 (11/20)

The rest of the AUD scores released tomorrow should be wave 2.5.

No borderline scores in AUD or FAR.
